Canada’s freebie for Wednesday comes from the Canadian Space Agency in celebration of Canada’s First Expedition mission. Basically, the first 10,000 who register for free for their “Get Fit For Space” program get the free pedometer. There’s more information on the site – click the image below, then click the “Go” on the next page – once the animation is done loading there will be a link on the top right to the registration where it indicates you’ll get the free pedometer:
This is from the Canadian government so I don’t think there should be any problem with it working. Nonetheless, their 10,000 quota will get met eventually, so if you go there and they are indicating they’re out of the free pedometers, please comment back and let us know so we can expire this offer. I’m naturally skeptical of such offers because it typically costs companies more money to ship out these freebies if they are doing international deals like this, and some companies take advantage of the popularity of international freebies and will put a countries drop-down list but in fact will only send the freebies within the US or to a handful of countries. Hopefully not the case with this or any others that are currently active on Blammo, but that’s why we’d like feedback from visitors in other countries so that we can be more sure.
