Friday’s Freebie: Free Silk Blue Rose (Offer Expired)

I see what you did there!

Welp, this marks the 2nd time we’ve run into a probable scammer, and we apologize to all visitors. After posting today’s (July 6th) freebie, I went back and took another look at this one. On a hunch, I checked the information it gave towards the bottom of the page on cleaning the flowers, and it looks like they completely swiped it from a EzineArticles.com article that was made by someone else. That’s enough to tip the scales and cause me to remove this. It’s really unfortunate because this would be a nice freebie for a silk rose company to offer, but I don’t believe this is/was a legitimate freebie. As you can see from the original post below, I WAS skeptical about this offer and advised caution, but now I’ll plain remove it from the site as well as contact the article’s author and make sure they’re aware someone’s copying their content. They can then contact this site’s host and get them in trouble hopefully.

This is a good looking US Only freebie, but a word of caution – the site doesn’t hide the fact that they will be sending emails, and they have the statement “We reserve the right to not send a sample to anyone for any reason.” I wouldn’t normally feature something like this, but the freebie pool has been light this week and this IS something different and unique that would be nice to get.
